Please follow the introduction below regarding the shipping rate setup functions with InkPOD:

The product&shipping cost calculator is presented under each item description as shown below, which will help you calculate the total cost with various products, shipping destination, quantities, and carriers:

Country: pick the shipping country, where most of your customers are from.

Purchase quantity: the average shipping cost per item will reduce if the quantity is increased in each order. Try to enter different purchase quantity to find the sweet spot.

Shipping method / shipping carriers: InkPOD cooperates with FedEx, DHL, Yunexpress, Yanwen, SF Express, 4PX and etc. Find out which carrier is most satisfied with your requirement (time, cost, quantities, countries) for your online store.

Total Cost: the product costs plus shipping costs for different quantities of products, which help you better setup the retail prices and shipping cost strategy.

Once you've installed InkPOD in your Shopify store, the InkPOD default shipping profile will be listed under Shopify Setting - Shipping and delivery - App shipping profiles - InkPOD. There are 2 default shipping options:

a. Free shipping for all products, which means you will cover the shipping cost for your customers, or include the shipping cost as part of your retail prices;

b. Standard shipping and expedite shipping with different shipping rates. With that option, your customer will be able to pick their preferred shipping time/rate.

In order to automate the selection of shipping method for your orders from Shopify and Etsy, you can personalize your shipping rule in InkPOD, and InkPOD will ship your order with the matched shipping method according to the rules you set. If you'd like to setup your own shipping rules, click InkPOD Setting - Shipping Rules - New Rule:

Shipping Rules Name: the name of your personal shipping rule

Priority: the priority will govern the sequence of shipping options when you have multiple rules. Larger value will have higher priority

Conditions: setup the shops and shipping countries. The shipping method name can be ignored.

Action: choose your preference shipping carrier for the specific shop and countries you picked in Conditions.

For example, if you'd like to pick FedEx as the shipping carrier for all your US orders under Shop A-1, you can setup the rule as shown below:

Rule Name: US - FedEx

Priority: 10 (not necessary)

From shops: A-1

Countries: US

Shipping method names: Skip

Action: FedEx

After saving that rule, all your future US orders from Shop A-1 will be shipped by FedEx.
